Why choose WellWalks?

We have explored a wide range of beautiful locations to give you many options to choose from. An easy ramble or a challenging climb to a summit? Short or long distance? River, lake, forest, hill, park or beach?

We've got somewhere special to take you.

Crisp clean air, the cheerful sound of birdsong and the gentle gurgle of flowing water, the fresh scent of pine, flowers or sea on the breeze, the warmth of sunlight on the skin. These clear our heads,

restore our spirits and bring us back to a grounded, easier state.

Mindfulness enhances our experience by bringing greater attention to the sights, sounds and sensations of beautiful surroundings. This extra focus carries through to our work, improving our concentration, productivity and communication skills.

The invigorating feeling of movement, the strengthening of our muscles, the extra flow of oxygen-rich blood through our bodies and brains and the feel-good endorphins released in the body through exercise, all serve to lift our mood, and general sense of wellbeing.

Learn about the old, but not forgotten uses and benefits of plants we pass every day. Wild plants, rich in nutrients, have been used as superfoods and as plant-based-medicines in ages past. They still provide their gifts to those who know how to use them.

How about a little history to learn lessons of the past, understand where we came from and fire up the imagination with tales of heroism & magic from Irish mythology.

Finding your way in this world can be challenging at times but the principles of map-reading, picking your destination and observing as you go can get help us get there, on and off the hills.
